Brian Spears  is the poetry editor of The Rumpus and the author of A Witness in Exile (Louisiana Literature Press 2011). He currently resides in Des Moines where he teaches at Drake University. He also sells beer and wine at the Gateway Market under the name The Mighty Malt Master.
